We’re all moved in and at home
Since moving into our new clubrooms in 2024 we are now getting to feel at home with our great range of layouts at various stages of construction and good modelling facilities.

Glenkiln Road
Michael Stokoe’s OO layout Glenkiln Road has been set up in our clubroom since we moved in in 2024.. To date the layout has won “Best Overall Prize” at the Edinburgh & Lothians exhibition in 2024 and the public vote for best layout at the Cathcart exhibition in 2025.

Phoenix Lane
Phoenix Lane was the second layout to be moved into the clubroom, but was the first to have been fully set up and operating. The layout was upgraded scenically for ModelRail 2025 in February with much work including a fantastic new section of countryside with a deep cutting leading into tunnels. This includes a ventilation shaft with working exhaust smoke

Lockerbie
Lockerbie is now fully setup and has improvements to its fiddle yard to allow even more trains to operate

Moncrieff
One of our smallest layouts in the clubroom, but it certainly packs in a lot of detail.
Edinburgh Model Railway Exhibition 2024
Glenkiln Road had a fantastic outing in its shortened format. Definitely a show we will strive to support in the future.
