Summerlee Museum Model Railway Exhibition

The club will be exhibiting David Knox’s new N-gauge layout, called ‘Kenless’. The show will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and from 10am to 3.30pm on Sunday. Entry to the museum and event is free to all. It will feature a variety of layouts and traders.

ModelRail Scotland 2026

The club exhibited its brand new OO gauge layout ‘Blackbury Junction’ at ModelRail Scotland 2026. Operation of the layout was generally successful albeit with some gremlins during the first day of operation.

Train operation utilises Digital Command Control (DCC) and many of the locomotives and diesel multiple units featured sound. Track points are operated by DC control. Signaling is work in progress.

Cathcart Model Railway Exhibition 2025

We exhibited Michael Stokoe’s OO gauge layout ‘Glenkiln Road’ at the exhibition in Pollokshaws Burgh Hall

We exhibited a medium sized version of Michael Stokoe’s OO gauge layout “Glenkiln Road” at George Watson’s College in the Morningside area of Edinburgh on the 1st and 2nd June. The exhibition was organised by the Edinburgh and Lothians Miniature Railway Club
